Bacillus subtilis Based Biofungicide & PGPR
Biological disease protection with enhanced plant growth and rhizosphere health
Bacillobacter® is a Bacillus subtilis-based biofungicide and Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) formulation developed for biological suppression of fungal and bacterial plant diseases while supporting healthier crop growth and improved soil biological activity.
When applied to soil and the rhizosphere, Bacillus subtilis rapidly colonizes root surfaces and competes effectively with harmful microorganisms. The formulation produces antimicrobial compounds and beneficial metabolites that suppress pathogens, improve nutrient availability, and support stronger plant growth and stress tolerance.
Biocontrol Activity
Bacillus subtilis produces antimicrobial compounds such as subtilin, polymyxin, gramicidin, and lipopeptides that inhibit growth and development of pathogenic fungi and bacteria.
Rhizosphere Colonization
The bacteria actively colonize the rhizosphere and root surfaces, helping suppress pathogen establishment and preventing spore germination of harmful microorganisms.
Plant Growth Promotion
The microbial strains produce beneficial enzymes and plant growth-promoting substances such as auxins and gibberellins that support root development, nutrient uptake, and overall crop vigor.
Nutrient Solubilization
The formulation helps mobilize and solubilize nutrients such as phosphorus, calcium, potassium, and magnesium, improving nutrient availability within the root zone.
Induced Resistance (ISR & SAR)
Bacillobacter® stimulates natural plant defense responses through induced systemic resistance (ISR) and systemic acquired resistance (SAR), improving plant resilience against diseases and environmental stress.

Dose
Drip / Drench Application
Mix the required quantity with approximately 200 L water and apply through drip irrigation or soil drenching.
Broadcasting Application
Mix with 200–500 kg FYM or organic manure and apply near the root zone.
Seedling Root Dip
Seedlings may be dipped before transplanting to support early root colonization and plant establishment.
Application Timing
Can be applied during the cropping period. Best results are obtained under adequate soil moisture and when integrated with balanced nutrient management practices.
