Azoto Bacter

Azoto Bacter

Nitrogen Fixing Bacterial Biofertilizer

Supports biological nitrogen fixation and promotes healthy crop growth

Azoto Bacter® is a nitrogen-fixing bacterial biofertilizer developed to improve nitrogen availability naturally through biological nitrogen fixation. The formulation helps convert atmospheric nitrogen into plant-available forms, supporting stronger vegetative growth, root development, and overall crop productivity.

By improving nitrogen availability biologically, Azoto Bacter® supports balanced crop nutrition, healthier rhizosphere activity, and long-term soil fertility.

Biological Nitrogen Fixation

The beneficial bacteria present in Azoto Bacter® convert atmospheric nitrogen into ammonia through biological nitrogen fixation using the nitrogenase enzyme system. This process makes nitrogen available for plant uptake and supports crop growth naturally.

Rhizosphere Colonization

The microbial strains actively colonize the root zone and improve biological activity around developing roots, supporting nutrient exchange and root health.

Plant Growth Promotion

The microbial activity supports production of natural plant growth-promoting substances that improve root development, nutrient uptake efficiency, and plant vigor.

Nutrient Cycling

The beneficial microbes support decomposition and mineralization processes within the soil, improving nutrient availability and soil biological activity.

Dose

  • Field Crops: 1–2 L per acre
  • Horticultural Crops: 2–5 L per acre

Drip / Drench Application

Mix the required quantity of formulation with approximately 200 L of water and apply through drip irrigation or soil drenching.

Broadcasting Application

Mix the formulation with 200–500 kg of well-decomposed FYM or organic manure and broadcast uniformly near the root zone.

Seedling Root Dip (Optional)

Seedlings may be dipped in the prepared solution before transplanting to support early root colonization and establishment.

Application Timing

Can be applied anytime during the cropping period. Best results are obtained when used along with organic manures and recommended nutrient management practices.
