Potash Bacter

Potassium Mobilising Bacterial Biofertilizer

Mobilizes unavailable potassium and supports stronger crop growth and nutrient balance

Potash Bacter® is a potassium-mobilising bacterial biofertilizer developed to release unavailable forms of potassium present in soil minerals into plant-available forms. The formulation supports improved nutrient uptake, stronger root activity, better plant metabolism, and enhanced crop vigor.

By improving potassium availability biologically, Potash Bacter® helps support balanced crop nutrition, stress tolerance, and long-term soil fertility.

Potassium Mobilization

The beneficial bacteria present in Potash Bacter® release organic acids and enzymes that help solubilize fixed and unavailable potassium from soil minerals. This process converts trapped potassium into plant-available forms that can be absorbed efficiently by crop roots.

Rhizosphere Colonization

The microbial strains actively colonize the root zone, improving microbial activity and nutrient exchange around developing roots.

Nutrient Cycling

The formulation supports nutrient mineralization and biological nutrient cycling within the soil, improving overall nutrient-use efficiency.

Plant Growth Promotion

The microbial activity supports healthier root systems, improved nutrient absorption, and stronger plant vigor under varying field conditions.

Dose

  • Field Crops: 1–2 L per acre
  • Horticultural Crops: 2–5 L per acre

Drip / Drench Application

Mix the required quantity of formulation with approximately 200 L of water and apply through drip irrigation or soil drenching.

Broadcasting Application

Mix the formulation with 200–500 kg of well-decomposed FYM or organic manure and broadcast uniformly near the root zone.

Seedling Root Dip (Optional)

Seedlings may be dipped in the prepared solution before transplanting to support early root colonization and establishment.

Application Timing

Can be applied anytime during the cropping period. Best results are obtained when used along with organic manures and recommended nutrient management practices.
