Trichonelix

Trichonelix

Trichoderma Based Biofungicide

Broad-spectrum biological control for soil-borne diseases and healthier root development

Trichonelix® is a Trichoderma-based biofungicide formulated with Trichoderma harzianum and Trichoderma viride strains for effective biological management of soil-borne plant diseases and root pathogens. The formulation establishes a symbiotic association with plant roots, helping protect the rhizosphere while supporting healthier root growth, nutrient uptake, and plant vigor.

The beneficial fungi rapidly colonize the root zone and suppress harmful pathogens through competition, mycoparasitism, antibiosis, and stimulation of plant defense mechanisms.

Competition

Trichoderma rapidly colonizes the rhizosphere and competes with pathogens for space and nutrients, limiting their establishment and growth.

Mycoparasitism

The fungus acts directly against pathogenic fungi by producing enzymes such as chitinases, glucanases, proteases, cellulases, and lipases that degrade pathogen cell walls and hyphae.

Antibiosis

Trichonelix® produces secondary metabolites and antifungal compounds that inhibit growth, reproduction, and infection by plant pathogenic fungi.

Plant Growth Promotion

The fungal strains support root proliferation, nutrient uptake, moisture absorption, and overall plant vigor by improving rhizosphere activity.

Induced Resistance (ISR & SAR)

The formulation stimulates natural plant defense responses by inducing production of phytoalexins, antioxidants, PR proteins, and other defense-related compounds that improve resistance against biotic stress.
