Rhizo Bacter

Rhizo Bacter

Rhizobium Based Nitrogen Fixing Biofertilizer

Supports biological nitrogen fixation and promotes healthy root nodulation in legume crops

Rhizo Bacter® is a Rhizobium-based biofertilizer developed to support biological nitrogen fixation through symbiotic association with legume crop roots. The formulation helps improve root nodulation, nitrogen availability, plant vigor, and overall crop productivity.

By naturally fixing atmospheric nitrogen within root nodules, Rhizo Bacter® supports balanced crop nutrition while improving soil biological fertility and reducing dependence on chemical nitrogen fertilizers.

Symbiotic Nitrogen Fixation

The Rhizobium bacteria establish a symbiotic association with legume roots and form root nodules where atmospheric nitrogen is converted into plant-available ammonia through biological nitrogen fixation.

Root Nodulation

The bacterial strains colonize developing roots and stimulate formation of effective nodules that support continuous nitrogen fixation during crop growth.

Rhizosphere Activity

The microbial activity improves biological activity around the root zone, supporting nutrient exchange, root development, and healthier crop establishment.

Plant Growth Support

Improved nitrogen availability supports vegetative growth, chlorophyll formation, biomass production, and overall crop productivity.

  • Field Crops: 1–2 L per acre
  • Horticultural Crops: 2–5 L per acre

Drip / Drench Application

Mix the required quantity of formulation with approximately 200 L of water and apply through drip irrigation or soil drenching.

Broadcasting Application

Mix the formulation with 200–500 kg of well-decomposed FYM or organic manure and broadcast uniformly near the root zone.

Seed Treatment

Apply recommended quantity with suitable sticker solution before sowing to support early root colonization and nodulation.

Application Timing

Best applied during early crop establishment stages with adequate soil moisture for effective root colonization and nodule formation.
