Phosphonelix

Phosphate Solubilising Fungal Biofertilizer

Improves phosphorus availability and supports healthy root-zone microbial activity

Phosphonelix® is an innovative multi-strain fungal formulation designed to convert insoluble phosphorus into plant-available forms while supporting healthy rhizosphere colonization. The formulation also helps suppress wilt and root rot diseases and supports reduction of nematode and root grub pressure, contributing to stronger and healthier crop growth.

Phosphate Solubilization

The fungal strains present in Phosphonelix produce organic acids and enzymes that help release bound phosphorus from soil particles, making it available for plant uptake. This improves nutrient availability and supports better root development and crop growth.

Disease Suppression

The formulation contains different Trichoderma species that help suppress soil-borne and seed-borne pathogens through nutrient competition, rhizosphere colonization, mycoparasitism, and production of antifungal metabolites.

Nematode Suppression

The combination of Pochonia and Paecilomyces helps suppress nematodes by parasitizing eggs and reducing their viability. These fungi produce enzymes such as proteases and chitinases that break down nematode structures and support biological control.

Root Grub Suppression

Metarhizium helps manage soil-dwelling grubs through fungal infection. The fungal spores attach to the insect cuticle, germinate, penetrate the body, and proliferate internally, leading to insect mortality.
