NPK Bacter is a multi-functional microbial biofertilizer developed to improve nutrient availability and support balanced crop growth through biological nutrient cycling. The formulation helps mobilize nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, sulfur, iron, and other essential nutrients while supporting beneficial rhizosphere microbial activity.

Biological Nitrogen Fixation

The formulation contains beneficial microbes capable of converting atmospheric nitrogen into plant-available forms through biological nitrogen fixation. These microorganisms produce the enzyme nitrogenase, which converts nitrogen gas into ammonia that plants can utilize for growth and development.

Phosphate Solubilization

Beneficial bacteria and fungi release organic acids and enzymes that help break down insoluble phosphate compounds present in the soil, converting them into forms available for plant uptake.

Potassium Mobilization

Certain beneficial microbes present in the formulation help mobilize unavailable forms of potassium from soil minerals through production of organic acids and enzymatic activity. These microbial processes release trapped potassium into plant-available forms, improving nutrient uptake, strengthening plant metabolism, and supporting better crop growth and stress tolerance.

Phytohormone Production

The microbial consortium supports production of natural plant growth-promoting substances that stimulate root growth, improve nutrient absorption, and support overall plant vigor.

Nutrient Mobilization & Mineralization

The beneficial microbes release enzymes that help decompose organic matter and mineralize trapped nutrients within the soil. These nutrients are then converted into plant-available forms for improved nutrient uptake efficiency.

Dose

  • Field Crops: 1–2 L per acre
  • Horticultural Crops: 2–5 L per acre

 

Drip / Drench Application

Mix the required quantity of formulation with approximately 200 L of water and apply through drip irrigation or soil drenching.

Broadcasting Application

Mix the formulation with 200–500 kg of well-decomposed FYM or organic manure and broadcast uniformly near the root zone.

Seedling Root Dip (Optional)

Seedlings may be dipped in the prepared solution before transplanting to support early root colonization and establishment.

Application Timing

Can be applied anytime during the cropping period. Best results are obtained when used along with organic manures and recommended nutrient management practices.
