Last week, we treated Corcyra larvae in the lab using our cultures of Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium, along with a control.
*On Day 0 – Larvae inoculated with BB, MA, and one control
*By Day 1 – All treated larvae were dead
*By Day 3, their bodies were completely covered with fungal mycelium.

This quick kill and strong fungal growth show that the strains we maintain are still highly effective.
It’s a reminder – just producing spores in bulk isn’t enough.
If the efficacy drops, the product is as good as wasted.
Maintaining the virulence and quality of cultures is just as important as mass production.
